Feeling blessed

My first Mother's Day was one to be remembered.  Not because I did anything extravagant, but because the love and support I received was something to be remembered.

It started off early by the thoughtful gifts and love to my baby boy from three special ladies.  Which was really special because not only is this my first, but Bryan isn't here to spoil me(I told him to save any spoiling for next year so I expect a pretty great second mother's day..muhaha).

In between then I had a grand Saturday.

Then Sunday continued with breakfast with my dad....a little mexican treat.  No pictures of the yummy huevos rancheros were taken.

Then church with my mom who is so amazing in so many ways. Corbyn is now at the point where he can make it through the sermon before nap time. Hip Hip Hooray!

Followed by crafting and working on the baby book while Corbyn took a 2 hour morning nap and 1 hour afternoon nap. Thank you son! ( about the craft, I know it's not even close to Valentine's Day but if I am spending 2 years in another country that doesn't celebrate Christian and American holidays you better believe I am going prepared.  I found some vintage valentines that I adore and had to do something with them.)

Then went to visit Corbyn's great grandmother Jan.

Then enjoyed some wonderful shrimp kabobs and tasty tomatoes grown in the backyard.

Then talked to my handsomely loving husband.

and of course played with my adorable son who is a slight maniac, but has made me the happiest mommy I could be.

Happy Mother's Day to all the AMAZING women I know!! I learn and grow by being surrounded by such wonderful mothers!!!
