Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end

The last few months have flown by and I can’t believe it is January.  We have had so many changes in the last few months and most have been for the better.  My heart is more full than I thought possible.  Of course the initial goodbye to Bahrain was hard for me because I invested so much into my friendships there but on the other end I knew I would be getting my best friend in the entire world back and Corbyn would experience what it’s like to really have dad around and really for the first time in 3 years. Corbyn’s favorite phrase since we have moved to Alexandria is, “I’m happy”.  Not that I don’t think he was happy before(because he definitely was), but come on with an awesome daddy like Bryan around more who wouldn’t be?!  Finding a place on the Internet wasn’t easy but I did it once again.  I hit the ball out of the park! It has proven to be everything we need and more.  The house is a cozy older home in an ideal location with a beautiful backyard.  It is a neighborhood filled with kids and in particular boys.  Corbyn had a lot of girlfriends in Bahrain who he adored but we have had so much fun watching him interact with boys.  He thinks having his grandparents around more is the coolest thing ever.  So do we.  He is very appreciative of the time he gets with them and makes them feel extra special when they are around.   However, the flip side is he mentions them coming to see him more often and it’s hard to explain they aren’t right around the corner.  I have told Bryan if we can love it here in the winter then I know we will love it the other three seasons.  So far we are loving it and enjoying the area very much.  There is so much to do and see.

We are more than ready to welcome Tristyn Thomas into this wonderful world.  I guess I should say we have prepared as much as we can.  My heart is so full it’s hard to think there is more room.   I just know Corbyn is going to be a wonderful big brother and he will prove to me once again how special he really is.  I am so excited to give this little guy some stability.  This is something I wasn’t able to give Corbyn in the beginning and although he did great with so so so much change I wish I could have provided more normalcy. But heck, I did the best I could and he came out all right!  So cheers to 2015…. how can it not be a wonderful year with all the wonderful blessings that have been bestowed upon the Wolfe Pack?!!! 

God is good! So good he is blessing us with another little boy! How can 3 years have already passed since this guy blessed us?!
